Jakob is a cinematographer with over 8 years of experience in the Austrian, German and New Zealand film, television and commercial screen industries. He has worked across a wide range of productions, from high-end commercials to drama, bringing a strong technical foundation and a sharp eye for visual storytelling.
He worked on a range of international projects, often blending travel with storytelling through both cinematograohy and photography. In 2025, he relocated to Auckland, New Zealand, where he currently works as a cinematographer for NZME – the country’s leading media company.
Always open to new project inquiries, especially those connected to landscapes and wildlife, whether it’s for photo essays or video documentaries.
